Working with their CTO in Australia, eVantage Technology supports 70 users on a Windows and Citrix environment.
Office setup for a boutique executive search and selection firm focused on recruiting Legal, Risk and Compliance professionals. The firm engaged eVantage Technology to expand operations from their current based in Hong Kong to Singapore. eVantage Technology was responsible for supplying and installing all office equipment and established VPN based terminal server access to their existing Hong Kong server.
Successful rollout of Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Online for BW Furniture, one of Asia’s leading providers of high quality international furniture solutions. The deployment spanned 5 different offices across Asia and delivered an enterprise class e-mail solution to their team of 40 staff. eVantage Technology were responsible for all aspects of the project, including planning, Microsoft Office 365 setup with their existing e-mail domain, data migration, deployment and end user training.
On-going IT Support and maintenance for CBMM Asia and implementation of Egnyte HybridCloud file sharing solution. CBMM is involved in the extraction, processing, manufacturing and marketing of niobium-based products. Various niobium products and compounds are supplied to the AP region via CBMM Asia. CBMM owns and operates the world’s largest niobium mine in Araxá, Brazil and is the only niobium producer present in all market segments.
Office setup and ongoing IT support for Delta Partners, a leading Management Advisory and Investment Firm specialised in Telecoms, Media, and Technology headquartered in Dubai. Liaising with their group Head of IT, eVantage Technology supplied and fitted a range of hardware that included racked IT equipment, an IP-based telephone system, video and audio conferencing, audio visual set-up (projectors, screens and televisions) and door entry systems into their new premises at 6 Battery Road, Singapore. Also included in the project was structured cabling for voice and data (70 endpoints).
Purchase, installation and configuration of racked servers and networking equipment in highly compressed timescales (10 days from initial contact) for an Energy Investments company expanding their operations in Singapore. The project included the setup of secure site-to-site VPN to their London Office.
Appointed as Hevilift Group’s regional IT provider. Established in 1994, Hevilift is one of the leading aviation charter service companies in the Asia-Pacific region. eVantage Technology has primary responsibility for IT service and support to Hevilift’s South East Asia operations and performs a Group-wide role in providing 24 hour monitoring of all servers, site specific IT audits of all locations (including Singapore, Indonesia, Australia and Papua New Guinea) and will fulfil the ‘Chief Information Officer’ role to ensure Hevilift’s IT set-up is aligned with their future business plans.
Singapore office setup for IHC Merwede, one of the largest shipbuilding and offshore companies in the world. eVantage Technology worked with an office fit-out company and the client to provide everything from the servers to the keyboards and televisions, ready to start work. Following the opening of the office, eVantage Technology provided outsourced IT support and procurement, working closely with the central IT team in Holland to provide a centralised Singapore-based helpdesk that integrated with the client’s systems, and designing cross-time zone escalation matrixes. Follow on projects included a remote hardware audit, WAN connectivity upgrades and server decommissioning.
Office setup and ongoing IT support for a London-based investment and wealth manager expanding into Singapore. The setup, based in Chevron House, included structured cabling, broadband provision, IP telephony (including voice recording solution), racked server equipment, biometric office security and CCTV.
Implementation of several major infrastructural projects for Megazip Adventure Park, one of the leading tourist attractions in Singapore, based on Sentosa Island. This included a complete redesign and replacement of their campus-level networking infrastructure, the installation of a 700 meter fibre optic network link between ticketing booths and the replacement of their analogue telephony with a park-wide Avaya IP telephone system.
Office setup and ongoing IT support for a new hedge fund arriving in Singapore. The setup, based in the OCBC Centre, included on-site file server, hosted Exchange, website design and deployment, PC and Bloomberg deployment, Centrex telephony solution, and fibre based broadband installation. eVantage Technology was responsible for all aspects of the implementation, from solution proposal through to final installation and configuration.
Global rollout of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft InTune for NMG, a professional and trusted financial solutions provider in Asia and Europe. The solution provided NMG with enterprise class e-mail and best of breed collaboration capabilities via Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Lync. The Microsoft InTune deployment delivered a complete management solution for of all NMG’s global PCs and laptops with services such as asset management, malware endpoint protection, OS Upgrades and policy management all managed cost effectively from a single, centralised console. eVantage Technology worked closely with NMG IT to plan the project, migrate their existing domain and e-mails from an onsite Exchange server to the new Microsoft Office 365 cloud service with minimal disruption to their daily business operations.
Creation of a high availability Exchange 2010 deployment for a leading Private Equity company as part of their global email and communications strategy. The hardware was deployed to a Singapore datacentre, with data replication to their pre-existing London-based architecture. The system consisted of a 100% duplication of all hardware and services to ensure the highest availability possible in case of any potential equipment failure. The system ran on three physical servers each with multiple VMWare environments. These environments were served by NetApp storage with multiple controllers running on a network architecture utilising multiple VLANs and VRRP redundancy protocols, all powered by multiple independent power sources.
Office setup and ongoing IT support for RAM Capital, a Swiss-based wealth management company. The deployment included racked servers and switching, an Asterisk-based IP phone system allowing for inter-office communication between the Geneva head office and Singapore, and a thin client deployment to user’s desktops. eVantage Technology was also responsible for physical security, and supplied and fitted a biometric door entry system and an alarm system to protect the client’s premises, based in Club Street, Singapore.
IT systems relocation, assessment and consultation for Singapore Flying College (SFC). SFC is a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines and trains (ab-initio) pilots for Singapore Airlines, SilkAir and Singapore Airlines Cargo. eVantage Technology worked with SFC on relocating their IT infrastructure to their current new premises and was involved in site assessment, consultation and the move of their server room and related IT infrastructure upgrades (racking, cabling, networks, etc).
On-going IT Support for Titan Salvage, a subsidiary of the Crowley Maritime Corporation. Working closely with the Crowley IT team in Florida, eVantage Technology provide critical support for Titan Salvage’s operations in Tuas, Singapore.
Data Centre build for Vopak. eVantage Technology provided turnkey project management for the fit-out and the work included raised flooring, electrical panels, network cabling and air-conditioning. Vopak is the world’s largest independent tank storage provider and provides complete storage and transshipment solutions at 80 terminals in 32 countries, covering and connecting the world’s major shipping lanes.
