eVantage Technology interviewed Mr. Michael Paganussi – Director of Corporate Affairs Santa Lucia Asset Management – to learn more about his experience working with eVantage Technology:
Santa Lucia Asset Management (“SLAM”) is a Singapore registered, asset management company. Our goal is to provide value-based absolute return investment solutions to high net worth individuals, family offices and trusts, and institutions. SLAM has both equity and fixed income experience in all major financial markets. Funds managed and/or advised by SLAM professionals have held investments in over 40 countries while executing their global mandates. We believe our global approach is important as it offers clients maximum flexibility in a rapidly changing world. Currently, assets under management are over US $1.8 billion.
When we initially engaged eVantage Technology, their niche was asset management. Sam, one of the co-founders, has a background on the sell side, so he had an understanding of what our needs were and we were therefore very comfortable in trusting eVantage Technology with our business. Soo Meng, the other co-founder, has experience working with IT, which provided me with the extra assurance that they would be able to meet our requirements.
eVantage Technology was right there from the start. Our business started in February of 2011, and I contacted eVantage Technology in January to help us with our IT needs. They helped us source our computers, set up our office, set up our phones and they’ve provided support ever since. I can’t imagine going through the process without them.
It’s a relationship we have had for three years now and it has been very positive. We have been very comfortable in trusting eVantage Technology with our business. From an IT standpoint we have simple needs and requirements and therefore are not very heavily IT dependent – at least until something does not work! Also, every once and awhile we will have an unusual IT request and I’ll pick up the phone and call eVantage Technology. They always find a solution to the problem.
I would say it’s because of the responsiveness. I’ve seen the evolution of the firm and I like the direction that the company is going.
