eVantage Technology interviewed Mr. Ryan Huber – Managing Director of Huber’s Butchery – to learn more about his experience working with eVantage Technology:
Huber’s Butchery imports meat from Australia, the US and Europe and then we sell it to our customers. We have a retail shop located at Dempsey which sells direct to the consumer and the factory, where all of the production occurs, deals directly with restaurants and hotels around Singapore.
Nowadays, everything you do is on the computer. For our company, everybody has to use IT in order to perform in their individual roles, whether it be for our invoicing, our stock updating, for marketing or even human resources. We also have a server in our office which supports our software and cash transactions in the retail store.
I consider Huber’s as a small business and when you’re a small business, you have to have an efficient workforce. As our business continued to grow, I recognized the need to outsource our IT services. I contacted eVantage Technology and over the last year we have benefited greatly by having somebody who is dedicated and more experienced than we are in this area.
If we had a problem with the network printer, their help desk managed to solve the issue. When we had to redesign the network, their team of experienced engineers were able to meet all of our requirements. My staff have all expressed their satisfaction when dealing with eVantage Technology – they know at any time, whether they are in the office or the retail store, the team is reachable. At the end of the day, that is the reason why you outsource your IT.
If you have somebody looking after your IT, they have to be number one, they have to be the best. We have had no issues with them and in terms of cost, I see the benefits for our business.
